OUR TRIP TO BEIJING, CHINA
12 Hours to go...... Having a stick of lamb from a street vendor at the Great Wall of China
Workers making a silk bed spread.
Silk machine processing the silk worm cocoons.
Look at the top of the picture - that's thousands and thousands of people at Tiananmen Square
Military - I stood beside him and he took two steps sideways - Maybe I smelled funny ;)
Police & Military everywhere...

Cars don't stop of anything....
Great Wall of China - Some parts have an 80 degree incline!
Great Wall of China
Beijing Disney. They started building it and half way through went bankrupt. They are hoping to re-start it and finish it for the 2008 Olympics.
Outside our hotel - it's not foggy, that's the smog!
Blood Bus. They drive around and stop where it's busy so that you can donate blood.
Went to the pharmacy late at night to get Advil - between eight women they couldn't figure out what I wanted :(
These people ride around and empty garbages - I happen to take the picture at the exact time a guy was blowing his nose into it and another guy checking out to see if he can take anything from the garbage.

Cooking and selling yams from back of his bike.
Note on toliet in hotel, they use recycled water - GROSS!
At one of the Ming Tombs - they throw money at this for good luck - they clear out the money once a week - they make a fortune!
One HUGE piece of Jade carved into a ship
Jade Workers
Avon Store

People selling drinks on the street - you see a different booth about every 10 feet.

Bike with an enclosure to carry one person
Bikes EVERYWHERE. Beijing has 13 million people, 8 million bikes and only 3 million cars!
Bikes and Cars and people walking everywhere in no order at all
At the Great Wall of China they have tons of bears that you can feed....they are in hands reach!

Wow!!
Looks so cool!

Did you spend much time at the Great Wall?

More details on the silk production? What girl doesn't love silk...

More importantly, did you ever get Advil?
