As most of you know - my mum usually visits every month... however, since taking a job working at H&R Block for tax season and the school board begging her to come back temporarily - she hasn't been able to come out to visit. So after 84 days since coming to Calgary, she was able to sneak away this weekend for two nights.
We managed to squeeze in a game (or two, or three) of scrabble, as most of you know our obsession with the game!
We typically play with the regular deluxe version of scrabble, but recently I've found a new version - it's called SUPER SCRABBLE. It has a larger game board and more spaces and quadruple point squares. Plus, 200 letter tiles which allows you to make words not possible in the standard game of only 100 letter tiles!
We had so much fun playing - We played two games on the "super" board, both scoring in the 900!! Here are the 50 pointers (when you use all your 7 tiles for one word) that we made in the two games:
Chris: Kelly:
Fringier Tossing
Pleasing Ranchero
Partions Listened
Coyotes Bloating
Mendings Trimmings
Southers
